I saw Run, Fatboy, Run, opening tomorrow, and wrote a lukewarm review for the L Magazine. C'mon, Simon Pegg, do better!

I also have a blog post up over there about big-screen revivals in New York, from my vaguely plebian perspective. In it, I pose the question of which movies or types of movies or whatever people would be most excited to go out and see in a theater; if you have any interest in answering that sort of question, why not go ahead and do some commenting over there? The L Mag blog is generally pretty fun.

I know, right? It would be nice if they had any decent way of advertising it beyond the occasional flyer (flyers?!) at their other theaters. Maybe that's why they keep rerunning the same movies -- they never get around to publicizing them.

That said, the time we saw West Side Story there in a blizzard was one of the defining film-going experiences of my life. It was amazing. I would totally go to an Indiana Jones retrospective if only they would hold one and TELL ME ABOUT IT.

is in Run, Fat boy, Run, which is the only real reason I bothered to download the torrent a while back. He makes a cameo as the guy who is hit by the wheelchair! <3 <3
